Equinor (Statoil) has known about these technologies since 1997
As early as 1997, I delivered report (Ny Fornybar Energiteknologi) and held lecture for Statoil Research Center on zero-point energy and advanced energy technologies. This work was also covered in a large article in Teknisk Ukeblad. In 2010, Equinor (then Statoil) purchased a comprehensive study over nearly a year titled “New Energy Frontiers” (Contract No. 4502035238) from me, together with a full-day lecture / seminar for their Research Centre in Trondheim attended by Statoil energy researchers from Oslo, Stavanger and Trondheim. And in 2011 I delivered «Input to Statoil Management Meeting - Scaling up Oil & Gas to New Energy Frontiers». Several of these exact technologies were presented.
Yet Equinor has chosen to ignore the knowledge they paid for - some of it more than 25 years ago - and continues to pursue one of the most expensive and complex decarbonisation strategies possible.
This is not rational energy policy. It is costly ideology over practical, already-known solutions.

The Four Breakthrough Energy Technologies
The following four technologies represent fundamentally different approaches to energy production and emission reduction. They focus on high energy density, efficiency, green energy and compatibility with existing systems.
ThunderStorm Generator (TSG)
The Thunderstorm Generator (TSG) is a plasmoid-based retrofit technology developed by Malcolm Bendall. It can be installed on existing combustion engines / gas turbines and significantly reduces emissions while improving fuel efficiency.

E-Cat (Andrea Rossi)
The E-Cat, developed by Andrea Rossi and Leonardo Corporation, is a solid-state energy device based on Zero-Point Energy (ZPE) principles. It is designed to produce clean, continuous heat and electricity without conventional fuel or combustion.
Current Status (as of 2026):
Stable 25 kW units have been demonstrated.
Larger systems in the megawatt range are under development and testing.
A 2024 demonstration in Latina, Italy, showed an electric vehicle powered by an E-Cat ZPE reactor driving 201 km while simultaneously charging its battery.

The SunCell® that was invented to harness the new power source catalytically converts hydrogen directly into dark matter form called Hydrino® releasing brilliant high-energy light which is down-converted in energy to facilitate the production of electricity using commercially-available concentrator photovoltaic cells. A key advantage of the technology is its independence from fuel supply chains, making it a potential primary energy source that does not rely on fossil fuels, nuclear, or intermittent renewables.
QHe (Quantum Hydrogen Energy) – Clean Planet (Japan)

QHe is a LENR technology (Low Energy Nuclear Reaction), often referred to as cold fusion, developed by Clean Planet Inc. in Japan. It generates high-density heat through reactions between hydrogen and metal nanoparticles at relatively low temperatures.

Can power an entire house and an electric vehicle for a full month on approximately 1 kg of hydrogen
Delivers very high energy output from extremely small quantities of hydrogen
Produces no CO₂ emissions and generates no radioactive waste

Rendering subsidized Norwegian hydrogen projects like GreenH, NORHyWAY obsolete.
Current Status & Timeline: Clean Planet has developed and tested multiple prototypes in collaboration with research institutions and industrial partners. Pilot production began in 2025. The company plans to start commercial sales in the Japanese market between 2026 and 2030, followed by broader international expansion after 2030.
Backing and Intellectual Property: The technology is backed by partnerships with institutions such as Tohoku University and major industrial players including Mitsubishi and Miura. Clean Planet holds 118 granted patents, with 274 additional patent applications pending.
QHe offers a fundamentally different pathway for hydrogen energy. While 1 kg of green hydrogen in Europe currently costs between €8 and €15, QHe’s claimed efficiency means that the same amount of hydrogen could theoretically cover the energy needs of a house and an electric vehicle for an entire month. This stands in contrast to conventional hydrogen solutions, which require significantly larger volumes of hydrogen — and therefore much higher costs — to achieve comparable energy output. A heat module of QHe IKAROS is desktop-sized and operates with only a small quantity of low-cost materials such as nickel, copper and hydrogen. Each module is expected to generate 24kW. Megawatt thermal output can be generated by connecting multiple modules.

Why Current Climate Policies Are Failing

Current climate policies pour heavy subsidies into wind, solar, batteries, hydrogen, ammonia projects, and even hybrid battery/diesel express boats. These often exceed the unsubsidised cost of the energy produced and even often resulting in higher global CO₂ emissions when full lifecycle effects are counted then doing nothing.
Instead of delivering stable, affordable power, these policies prioritise intermittent wind and solar that require massive backup, overbuilding, and storage. This inflates system costs while delivering only limited net global CO₂ reductions once full lifecycle, supply-chain, land-use, and backup emissions are included. To reach high shares of wind and solar, grids must massively overbuild capacity (often 3–5× average demand) and rely on backup or expensive storage. Although wind and solar show low lifecycle emissions of 20–50 g CO₂eq/kWh in isolation, adding the gas-fired backup needed for reliability pushes the effective system footprint in the EU to 80–200+ g CO₂eq/kWh—several times higher than typically claimed.
In Sweden, the massive expansion of wind power has created a dysfunctional energy system. When the wind blows strongly the country produces far more electricity than it can use, forcing operators to regularly shut down turbines to protect the grid. Huge volumes of power are then dumped on the export market at rock-bottom - often negative - prices. Economist Christian Steinbeck, who has examined more than 1,500 annual reports from wind power companies, concludes that this expansion represents one of the largest capital destructions in modern times.
Norway is heading toward a structural power shortage and will need to rely on growing electricity imports in the coming years. Statkraft has warned that Norway’s power balance will become “very tight” toward 2030, making the country more vulnerable and increasing dependence on imports. Much of this imported power carries a significantly higher real-world CO₂ footprint, particularly when marginal production from gas and coal plants in Europe is activated. Despite this, Norway continues to spend billions on the electrification of offshore platforms and most notably Equinor’s Hammerfest LNG plant on Melkøya.
These projects are presented as major climate solutions, but they are extremely expensive, slow to implement, and only deepen long-term dependence on new wind power infrastructure and high-CO₂ imports. These greenwashing projects lock the country into greater dependence on an unstable grid while delivering questionable - or even negative - global climate benefits.
Norway’s climate policy is a blatant green farce, and the contradiction couldn’t be more obvious. While the government proudly throws over 100 million kroner of Enova subsidies at Norled and Ruter’s battery-swapping project (SHIFTR) for the hybrid battery/diesel express boats MS Baronen and MS Baronessen in the Oslo fjord - bragging about saving a grand total of 2,600 tons of CO₂ per year - it quietly approves a single data center in Fyresdal that will spew roughly the same 2,600 tons of CO₂ annually from its 176 diesel backup generators.
Let that sink in: Norway pays massive taxpayer money on one hand to “save” 2,600 tons of CO₂, and on the other hand happily signs off on the exact same volume of emissions because it’s a sacred data center.
This is not climate policy. This is greenwashing at its most hypocritical. Data centers get a free pass while the green agenda is weaponized against everything else. Norway talks big about saving the planet, but when Big Tech knocks, the “climate emergency” suddenly becomes flexible. Pure Climate Greenwashing Theater.
When the full lifecycle emissions of the Norled and Ruter battery swapping project (SHIFTR) for the hybrid battery/diesel express boats MS Baronen and MS Baronessen are taken into account, including the production of large lithium batteries, the rebuilding of the two express boats, construction of new quay infrastructure, installation of the SHIFTR robot, cabling, the continued use of diesel as backup and the extensive delays - the project is likely to generate more global CO₂ emissions over the 10-year contract period than it saves.
In other words: If Norled, Ruter, Oslo Municipality and Akershus County Municipality had simply continued operating MS Baronen and MS Baronessen on diesel as before, without any rebuilding or new technology, the total global CO₂ emissions would have been lower than with the current “green” project. Sometimes Doing Nothing Emmitts Less.
At the same time, Norled has suffered massive financial losses from its investments in battery technology, the SHIFTR battery swapping system, and hydrogen technology. The company lost 894 million kroner in 2025 alone and around 1.5 billion kroner over the last three years. Norled is now demanding that the state and county municipalities take a larger share of the financial risk going forward.
However, why should the public take on even more risk when these so-called “green” projects are likely to increase global CO₂ emissions rather than reduce them?
This is not a coherent climate strategy. It is a politically driven policy that subsidizes expensive and often ineffective projects presented as climate solutions, while at the same time accepting new fossil emissions elsewhere. The result is massive infrastructure costs, increased global CO₂ emissions in several cases, destruction of nature, and long-term dependence on intermittent wind power.
At the same time, real breakthrough energy technologies that could deliver major emission reductions at far lower cost and without destroying nature are being systematically ignored. Technologies such as the Thunderstorm Generator (plasmoid technology), E-Cat (ZPE/LENR), Brilliant Light Power’s SunCell (Hydrino technology), and QHe (Quantum Hydrogen Energy) already exist and are being developed by multiple companies. There are many more companies and researchers working on similar advanced energy solutions that could fundamentally change the energy landscape — yet they receive almost no political support or public funding.
Instead of continuing to pour billions into wind power, solar, batteries, and hydrogen projects that often fail to deliver real global climate benefits, Norway and other countries should prioritize the development and scaling of these genuine breakthrough technologies.

The military-industrial-banking complex has been suppressing and blocking clean, powerful, low-cost CO2-free energy technologies for over 100 years.
If you think this is «conspiracy» : By 2022 there were 6,155 secrecy orders on patents in effect ….. ONLY IN USA. Many of these suppressed patents were for energy inventions that could have solved the climate crisis years ago. The USA Invention Secrecy Act of 1951 requires the government to impose "secrecy orders" on certain patent applications.
The Cold Fusion discovery in 1989 was real, but verifications were suppressed and report were faked by MIT. This also delayed the development of climate solution technologies. Several inventors, scientists, promoters of clean New Renewable Energy Technologies have been threatened and killed. Some of those have been my friends and colleges. Laboratories have been blown up, families threatened, etc. I wrote one of the first article on Cold Fusion in the Norwegian media.

It is proven, through whistleblowers, that the US had gravity-energy-technology since oktober 1954 that could have been used as a clean CO2-free low-cost energy source for the world. Whistleblowers also have proven that US companies like Lockheed Martin`s Skunk Works Advanced Development Programs (ADP) and Raytheon today have advanced working Electromagnetic Quantum Vacuum Energy / Zero-Point-Energy (ZPE) units and technologies that if freed and put on the marked would end the need for oil / coal / gas over night.
The political climate crisis is not a result of burning oil, coal and gas. We have the political climate crisis because of greed, power and control. The clean CO2-free energy solutions have been in existence for over 100 years and we have had no need for oil/coal/gas since the 1920s.
